The House Oversight Committee has made public a set of approximately 70 photos from the estate of former convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such release from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the body has acquired from Epstein's estate. It includes images of quotes from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and censored photos of women's foreign passports.

This action comes hours before the December 19th cut-off for the Justice Department to make public each records related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These new photos bring up further queries about precisely what the DOJ has in its holdings," remarked the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Images Released

Some of the photos released on this week depict Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky aboard a private plane; Bill Gates positioned alongside a woman whose face is censored; Steve Bannon sitting at a table across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the most recent high-net-worth, powerful men to be pictured in Epstein property images released by the committee - previously published pictures also include US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the images is is not considered indication of any illegal activity, and many of the featured men have said they were in no way involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement released with the photograph release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not provide context or dates for the images.

"Images were chosen to provide the American people with openness into a illustrative selection of the photographs acquired from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's associates and his exceptionally troubling behavior," the announcement states.

The publication also includes several photographs of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in dark ink across various areas of a female's body, like her torso, lower extremity, pelvis, and back. Lolita narrates the story of a minor who was exploited by a middle-aged literature professor.

One excerpt from the book scrawled across a woman's chest states, "Lolita: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of photographs of female passports and identification documents from nations globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, such as identities and DOBs, is censored but the House Oversight Committee said in a announcement that the travel documents pertain to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

A further photograph features Epstein seated at a desk closely flanked by three female figures whose identities have been censored - one individual has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and another is leaning to examine a nearby laptop. Epstein appears to be aiding the third individual attach a bracelet.

An additional photograph made public is a image of text messages from an unidentified person who claims they have been provided "several females" and are demanding "$1000 for each individual".

Photograph Disclosure Arrives Before DOJ Due Date

The body has thousands of photographs in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and everyday," its press release on this week noted.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and documents the Epstein estate provided to the committee are different than what is often termed "Epstein-related records". Those are documents within the justice department's custody related to its separate inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which President Trump signed into law last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its files. The scope of what is included in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's likely that much of the content will be extensively redacted, similar to Congressional materials
