Brian Eno Urges Backing to Send Together for Palestine Lullaby to UK Holiday Chart Peak.

A charity drive is aiming to send a cultural melody to the peak of the festive singles chart. The campaign hopes to send support to Gaza's residents while also showcasing Palestinian artistic heritage.

A Chance for Solidarity and an "Surprise Victory"

Renowned figure Brian Eno, who performs on the track, stated that the song titled Lullaby represents a chance to show solidarity with Palestinians during the holidays. He remarked the potential for an unlikely festive coup.

“It would be fantastic if that occurred, yes,” he said. “I won't be completely disheartened if it fails to, festive releases are a category of their own.”

Resilient Spirit of Dignity and Freedom

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who sings on the adaptation of a cultural piece called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the track's powerful central theme.

“It occupies a profound significance for countless listeners,” Barghouti explained. “It’s basically saying that I would prefer a dignified death than live a life without freedom. This is the primary message of the song; we desire to exist a dignified life that we merit as a people.”

Recording Origins and Star-Studded Lineup

The track was produced following a major charity concert held in September. Initially planned to be done as a live recording, the piece was shelved during the concert due to scheduling overruns.

The diverse array of artists appearing on Lullaby includes a range of well-known figures from the music world. All participated in the earlier concert, which managed to collect a substantial amount for charitable causes.

Final Touches and Availability

Lullaby was crafted by a team of talented individuals. The track blends a mix of the heritage language with freshly written English words.

The organizers behind the project have emphasized that their aim is to raise as much as possible for a dedicated fund. These proceeds will be allocated to Palestinian causes through an established charity.

“There is no a specific target,” a figure said. “We aim for the maximum achievable. Obviously, the greater the amount, the better. All proceeds are directed out to the people of Gaza.”

The situation in the region was described as its profound destruction, with a vast majority of property said to be destroyed or damaged.

“Against that backdrop, a handful of millions doesn’t make that much difference. But I think the significant factor is first of all spreading knowledge of this plight and proving that another narrative exists.”

The single 'Lullaby' is scheduled for release this Friday. Additionally, a complete film of the solidarity show will be made ready to watch on a popular streaming site from mid-December.
